VELMA

Nov 25, 2015

Trying to pull off a turtleneck top in this country has got to be one the most challenging things ever, yet I still manage to do this trend for the sake of fashion aesthetics. What more could be a greater match to an A-line button front skirt, right?

This whole look reminds me of a Scooby Doo character except that it has been toned down and the palette is off. In this ensemble I was going for the seasonal trend of a 60s vibe that has been in almost every shop that I go in to and of course, this outfit would definitely not be complete without my watch from Daniel Wellington which is also perfect for gift giving this Christmas season. It's almost the holidays, another reason why I opted for this top and just to mellow down a little more, I wore a pair of Stan Smiths instead of my first option which were the cut out boots. I don't want to look "too fall inspired" to not be judged as much.

I would also like to make a public announcement that I would be speaking with Etienne at Waterfront Hotel this Saturday for Cebu's Best Blogging practices with the topic specifically under fashion and style, it was overwhelming enough to be chosen to speak amidst all these other bloggers, everyone is invited to come and admission is free. I took the time slot at 11am so I guess I'll see all of you there.
